The FSCS may arrange to transfer your plan, provide a new plan, or if this is not possible, provide compensation. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.
For long term insurance business (such as pension plans and life assurance) the Scheme will cover 100% of the claim with no upper limit.
